O IURIS – Instituto de Investigação Interdisciplinar organiza e acolhe a 6.ª Conferência Bienal da European Society for Comparative Legal History, que terá lugar entre os dias 22 e 24 de Junho de 2022, na Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.
A 6.ª Bienal da ESCLH, que juntará em Lisboa mais de uma centena de investigadores de todo o mundo, é dedicada ao tema “Profissões jurídicas e método – os métodos das profissões jurídicas na Europa e no Mundo”, dando continuidade a linhas de investigação lançadas nas anteriores conferências da ESCLH em Valência (2010), Amesterdão (2012), Macerata (2014), Gdansk (2016) e Paris (2018) sobre o papel que as profissões jurídicas tiveram, e continuam a ter, na história do direito comparado.

IURIS – Interdisciplinary Research Institute hosts the 6th Biennal Conference of the European Society for Comparative Legal History, running between the 22nd and 24th of June 2022, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
The conference, which will gather in Lisbon over a hundred researchers from around the world, will focus on legal professions and method, especially the methods of legal professionals across Europe and the world, picking up threads of thought from the earlier ESCLH conferences in Valencia (2010), Amsterdam (2012), Macerata (2014), Gdansk (2016), Paris (2018) to explore what roles Professions and Methods have played, and continue to play, within comparative legal history.
